I believe that philosophy is enormously valuable to its students and beneficial to the world. Philosophy is transformative and empowering. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to teach philosophy to many people every semester.
I teach a lot of different courses. Generally, I'll teach Business Ethics every semester, plus Markets and Morality. I also frequently teach Human Nature, Introduction to Ethics, or a Special Topics course. Those have recently included 'The Meaning of Life,' 'Philosophy, Politics, and Economics,' 'Science and Religion,' and 'The Election.' I've taught mostly in-classroom, but I've also taught hybrid and fully-online courses.
I also recently created the interdisciplinary degree of the Bachelor of Science in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. I serve as the director of that program.
